Description

Your goal in each event is to stop the Timer as close to the Target times as you can to get the best score.

NOTE: Each event has unique rules so read the event instructions carefully at the start.

===EVENTS===

An event is a single stopwatch challenge with unique rules. There are 3 categories of events:

  • Track events challenge you to stop the timer at a fixed number of Target times to get the lowest score possible.

  • Field events challenge you to keep the clock running as long as possible before accumulating too many penalties (see Deltas).

  • Sport events are very different types of events than Track and Field.

NOTE: Some events are locked until you achieve a certain score in another event.

===THE TIMER===

A digital timer is centered in the play area. The timer displays accuracy to 1 / 100th of a second (0.01).

Click anywhere on the timer to start or stop the time.

NOTE: In more advanced events, the time display may be hidden to make the event more difficult.

===TARGET TIMES===

Each event challenges you to click the stopwatch at certain times called Targets. Target times are displayed above the timer clock as a reminder.

===DELTAS===

The time difference between when you click the timer and the actual Target time is called a Delta. These Deltas determine your score in the event.

Deltas are shown below the Timer as a hint.

If you are over your target time, the Delta will be red. If you are under your target time, the Delta will be blue.

NOTE: In more advanced events, the Delta display may be hidden to make the event more difficult.

===SCORING===

Events can be scored in different ways depending on the type of event:

  • Racing events: Your score is the sum of all Deltas. The lower your score, the better your standing.

  • Distance events: Your score is the last time on the clock before you exceed the Delta sum limit. The higher your score, the better your standing.

  • Target events: Your score is the number of times you hit the required target times. The higher your score, the better your standing.

NOTE: Some events may have multiple heats and will take your average score or sum score from each heat to determine your final score.

===LEADERBOARD===

Click the Leaderboard button to see where you rank amongst all other world players. Medals are awarded based on your world rank.

You need a score at least in the top 50% to recieve a medal. A score in the top 1% will get you a Champions Trophy!

Your best score rank in any event may change as more players play and improve their best score. Check the leaderboard occasionally to see how you are doing.
